How long does it take to paint one stone?
This question was frequently asked during the painting.

Vision engaged a team of time management consultants to determine
the answer. The consultants studied the actvities of the muralist
as the painting progressed. Their findings are itemized below.

To create one average stone it takes:
- 5 minutes of layout
- 3 minutes of blocking in
- 22 minutes of finish painting
- 14 minutes of minor fussing
- 4 minutes of "just a little quick fixing"
and...
There are approximately 2,200 stones on the bridge.
